Jared talks us through not only how to look at a property to maximize your ability to make your management work for you, but also how to make sure that all of your hard work is not wasted. We talk through the steps to ensure that the results from your food plot will be as good as mother nature will allow. We also talk about the practice of hinge cutting, and the different methods of doing so that will provide different advantages to both the deer and the landowner. This week we discuss the gear that we have acquired over the past few months as we continue to plan for our do it yourself over the counter elk hunt in Idaho. We discuss how our gear has been performing for us and any shortfalls in the gear that we are using or changes we have made along the way. We discuss things that we still need and to prepare for on this adventure and how the planning is going as a whole. I will link some of the items we discuss below.
