Montana Elk Success – Pat and Amber Casey

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 55: Montana Elk Success – Pat and Amber Casey

This week Adam and John sit down and talk with Pat and Amber Casey about their journey as midwest hunters chasing elk in Montana.  We have a very long form discussion chronicling their four year journey from deciding on a whim to pursue elk 1 month before the season starts to their fourth year when it all comes together for the first harvest and what that meant to hem and more importantly what it took to get to that point.  We talk about the progression of Pat and Amber’s hunting tactics, gear and preparation over that four year span.

The Basics of Filming with Arron Bleise

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 54: Arron Bleise – The Basics of Filming

This week Adam and Frank sit down to talk with Arron Bleise.  Arron wears many hats including the host of The Fall Podcast as well as producer and cameraman for the television shows Rival Wild and Dropped.  We were on the phone with Arron for almost 3 hours and well over a case of beer before we hit the record button talking all things hunting and filming.  We hit record and dove straight into the ins and outs of filming both for television and for all of the other platforms.  We discuss the elements of creativity, sound quality, work ethic and all of the other things that make a video engaging.  We also discuss camera gear for the beginner and how to utilize it, the gear needed to start dabbling into full on production and then the gear Arron uses on  a daily basis when he is in the field.  A great listen for anyone interested in any type of filming as well as anyone already filming and is ready to take their productions to the next level.  You can check out Arrons work in the links below:
