In this weeks episode we talk with Jason Feldt owner of the Bowhunter Box Club. We recorded this episode live the ATA show in Louisville and am glad we got to sit down with Jason. We talk about his journey as a hunter and as a business owner, hunting opportunities in Texas, the show, the Badlands Film festival and the finally the subscription box. Kevin documents his whole 2019 hunting season in the big wood of northern Michigan, capturing the culture of a traditional Michigan hunting camp. This week we talk to Taylor Chamberlin, the subject of the recent First Lite Film in City Limits. Taylor hunts in the urban areas of the Washington D.C. suburbs and surrounding areas, where he is able to hunt nearly year round and harvest unlimited numbers of white-tailed deer. We discuss the strategies used to harvest deer in urban areas, recommendations on hunting literature, advances in saddle hunting technology, shot process as well venison recipes. Taylor is definitely living a bowhunters dream as he harvests deer in the backyards of million dollars homes, almost on a daily basis.
On this weeks podcast Adam, his brother Drew and Uncle Frank rehash their experiences at the family deer camp on the trip up this bow season. Both Adam and Drew were able to harvest deer, on the same day their other brother Dustin harvested a mule deer in South Dakota. All three Miller boys harvested deer on the same day for the first time in their lives, a special day indeed. Uncle Frank weighs in on his thoughts of TV hunters as well as his time in camp and talks about some of his past hunts.
The deer we shot this season at camp were not the caliber of deer that social media tells you that you are supposed to shoot, however we had the most successful hunt we have had in years and our freezers are full because of it. We had a great hunt with family and friends, drank some beer, shot some deer and couldn’t be happier.

On this weeks podcast we speak to Todd Pringnitz President of White Knuckle Productions. Besides creating White knuckle productions from the ground up Todd also has been involved in the design of many of the industries finest products such as the Wicked line of tree saws as well as his newest creation the Tree Thrasher.
Todd also happens to be a bowhunting fanatic and has focused his passion on killing very old very mature bucks. Now Todd does this mainly on his small farm in Iowa but he cut his teeth hunting the same public lands many of you have hunted here in Michigan. Todd just so happens to be from the West Michigan area, and hunted some of the areas that John and I still hunt to this day.
