Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 83: The Mind of a Killer – Joe Rentmeester

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 83: The Mind of a Killer – Joe Rentmeester

This week Adam talks with two time Public Land Challenge Champion and Hunting Beast team member Joe Rentmeester.  Joe is one of those unsung guys who continues to kill big bucks no matter where he is, and no mater what adversity he faces.  The past two years in the company of incredible hunters who traveled out of state to places that they had never set foot on prior to the hunt, Joe was able to locate and kill a mature whitetail no matter the circumstances. This year in his home state of Wisconsin Joe spooked the buck he would end up killing the next day, and rather than pout and throw in the towel he adjusted to prior knowledge and went in an shot that buck in his bed.  In Michigan despite pouring rain and flooded lands, he was able to, on the same day that  a group of hunters walked right under his tree, get down, make a move and harvest a mature Michigan whitetail.  Joe walks us through these hunts and what kept him going and what his thought processes were in situations where a lot of guys would have given up. Social Media Mayhem – Tyler Kath – T & K Hunting Gear

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 73: Social Media Mayhem – Tyler Kath – T & K Hunting Gear

This weeks episode John and Adam speak with Tyler Kath of T and K Hunting Gear about his no nonsense approach to social media marketing and navigation of the hunting industry. Tyler is a combat veteran, having served in the Marine Corps infantry after high school and is now a law enforcement officer when not running the hunting gear business with his father and pissing off people on social media. T and K is a veteran owned company that makes hunting gear here in the United States and sources all of their materials here in the US.  They pride themselves on their no nonsense approach and superior materials and if you don’t like it, they don’t care.  Later on in the episode we also realize that this will be Tyler”s first year bowhunting and discuss his expectations and why he is getting into archery after all of these years.  Tyler also tells of future products and prototypes he is building for archery hunters in the future.

Tethrd Nation with Greg Godfrey, Ernie Power and Jared Shaffer

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 71:  Tethrd Nation with Greg Godfrey, Ernie Power and Jared Shaffer

This weeks episode is a long overdue podcast with the gang from Tethrd.  They say good things come to those who wait and this one is a good one.  We talk wit Greg, Ernie from Tethrd about how the saddles and ropes were tested, the initial ideas before Tethrd was formed, where to get saddle information and probably the most asked question in the saddle hunting world “why is my saddle taking so long”.  This isn’t your normal saddle hunting podcast addressing which is the tether, what’s a bridge and linemans rope, we choose to address it from a more functional and FAQ perspective for guys who have heard of saddle hunting and are interested but may have some reservations.
