Trophyline Wingman – My Go to Platform for Saddle Hunting

The recently released Trophyline Wingman is by far on of the products  I have been anticipating most for the 2021 season. I have hunted off of the Artisan Outdoor Fabrication top stick platform for the last two years and love the ease of use and the minimal setup time.  That being said there was a bit of a trade off in the real estate departmen, so when Trophyline announced the launch of the Wingman understandably my ears perked up. Trophyline Wingman is 11.8 x 8.5 inches and weighs in at 3.5 pounds with a cam buckle strap.  I was lucky enough to have  Shawn from Trophyline send me one of the first ones and I got to see for myself just how it stacks up against the Artisan platform I was using.  Overall I think Trophyline knocked it out of the park although as outlined in the video below I do not care for how it stacks with the other sticks and plan on making some changes to allow for better stacking.  Thats being said I am incredibly pleased with the Wingman and am looking forward to hunting from it as my saddle hunting journey continues.

Dane Waldman – Dryad Saddles – Is This Thing For Real?

The Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast – Episode 162 – Dane Waldman – Dryad Saddles – Is This Thing For Real? – This week Adam and John sit down and talk with Dane Waldman creator of Dryad Saddles. The Dryad saddle is not just another cookie cutter saddle saddle company who decided that they could sew and wanted to make a buck off of the booming saddle market, Dryad decided to think outside the diaper so to speak. Some might say thay Dryad has gone to far and made a product that is so outside the box, that it can’t work, that it’s a joke or there is no way you can hunt from it. We decided that we needed to talk with the man behind this thing to find out just what the hell was going on wth this thing. Prior to the podcast both John and Adam were able to get a chance to check out one of these saddles, to set it up sit in it and spend a little time with it so we didn’t go into this with a closed mind. This podcast gets to the bottom of all of that and more. You can find out more information on the Dryad saddle at https://dryadsaddles.com
