Bowhunter Chronicles Episode 25: John Speaks: Building Strings and Rebuilding Bows

In this episode our own John Boersema walks us through what kind of person it takes to completely rebuild you brand new bow 30 days before the biggest hunt of your life.  This podcast starts out a little technical but in the end we get into how anyone could go about getting into working on their own equipment at any level to improve not only their confidence and understanding of their equipment but also their performance with that equipment. Any of the questions you may have asked yourself quietly about why certain things are the way they are regarding archery, John does a pretty good job of explaining how things work together in this podcast.

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode #20: Total Archery Challenge Recap

This week we go over our experiences at the Total Archery Challenge at the Boyne Mountain Resort in Michigan.  We are joined once again by Uncle Frank as well as his son Chris.  We talk to Chris to get his perspective on The Total Archery Challenge from the perspective of a shooter who isn’t quite as into archery as we are. In talking with people about this event the sentiment I heard most was “I’d love to do that but….” and fill in the blank. Whether it was confidence, equipment or fear of losing arrows, we thought it would be good to have that perspective brought onto the podcast.  We also go through the June 2018 Bowhunter Box Club subscription box and outline a giveaway we are doing with the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers.

If you like what we are doing please please please remember to hit that five star rating below and leave us a review — thanks and enjoy the episode.
