Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 32: Shawn Walters with Silent Approach

This week we talk to Shawn Walters from Silent Approach, about his line of lightweight, strap on tree steps.  The Silent Approach climbing system consists of 12 steps weighing in at around 6 pounds with their carrying case and will allow you to climb to heights at or around 20 feet.  They are a very cool product, that is a new take at an old design.  We talk about the different climbing methods and their pros and cons as well as the benefits, real or perceived of having a super light setup. Overall it was a fun podcast to record, Shawn is a great guy so if you are in the market for some new climbing equipment or looking to go super light, these may just be what you are after.

This week we talk to Greg Litzinger, a very accomplished archer on many fronts. Greg hunts primarily state land in the heavily pressured state of New Jersey and has had tremendous success. Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 27: Precision Peeps with Bas Wolf

Bowhunter Chronicles Podcast Episode 27: Precision Peeps with Bas Wolf

The week we talk to Bas Wolf creator of the Precision Peep sight, a new take on an old design. The Precision Peep creates two points of reference allowing for more precise shooting, quicker target acquisition and less steps to a quality shot process.  Bas himself says that its not for everyone and if your shots are hitting where you intend every time,  thats great, but if not you may want to check now of these out.  Adam has been shooting one for about 3 months and has seen his groups drastically improve and has seen some changes that were needed.  We just wanted to let our listeners know about his product as it was not something that we had seen prior to receiving one in the Bowhunter Box Club Box last year.  You can check them out at http://www.precisionpeeps.com.
